Thanks, Mike and Greg! I play in a couple of bands and my band members know I wear skirts or kilts on occasion and don't mind a bit. I've got another skirt, a red plaid one, that people call a kilt. Anymore I don't bother to say it's a skirt. "Call it what you will! Doesn't bother me!"

Kilts are definitely the ‘gateway drug’ to men wearing skirts. I never understood the uproar over calling a kilt a mens skirt. Talk about the emperors new clothes.
It’s sad that a matter of semantics causes us such angst. Then again, if men would accept wearing a skirt if you just made sure you called it a kilt (regardless of if it had pleats and a tartan), it’d be winderful
